We have always been proud to say that Stian was our father's cousin, an internationally renowned veterinarian, a World Masters Orienteer, a skier, a runner, but most of all, a charming gentleman.
We are grateful to Stian for keeping the bonds between his Norwegian family and our Canadian family. We have been most fortunate to be welcomed and treated to warm hospitality many times in Norway and have enjoyed visits to Canada by Stian, Jennecke and their family.
We share the sadness of your loss.
Our love to all of you,
Betty Anne and Don Graves, Carol Carr, David and Betty Anne Rostrup
We Canadian relatives are so sorry to hear of Stian’s passing. Stian was very much a family man and took the initiative to reach out to his Canadian cousins and families, and nurtured the strong connection we have today. He was indeed a catalyst - welcoming the Canadian family to Norway and encouraging his kin to visit Canada. His athleticism was, and is, an inspiration to all of us. And his contribution to the international field of animal science was remarkable.
We are enriched and blessed by Stian’s presence in our lives.
Much love, Jim and Marcia Beckner
Dear Stian. Sorry to learn your father has passed away. I will forever remember him for his contribution on the development on laboratory animal in Thailand and above all for his generosity to me and my family. Any thing I can do to show my gratitudes please let me know. Please pass our condolences from my wife an I to your mother. Best regards Pradon
